The main cause of an aircon leaking water is a clogged drain line: algae, mould and debris block it, water backs up and overflows. Singapore's humidity makes it worse, because units here produce a lot of condensate. Ice forming on a dirty coil or from low refrigerant, then melting, is the other common cause (Helpling).
What it costs
Most drain blockages are cleared during servicing, which Helpling publishes from S$50 for 2 wall-mounted units (Helpling price list); a chemical wash is S$80 to S$100 a unit if the coil and tray are dirty.

Why is my aircon leaking water?
Usually a clogged drain line. Other causes are dirty filters or coils freezing and then melting, and low refrigerant causing ice on the lines.
Can I fix an aircon leak myself?
You can clean the filters and, if confident, flush an accessible drain line. Turn the unit off first. Persistent leaks need a technician.
